Mama Sue's Garden

Dedicated to Dora Porth "Mama Sue" Spires

A Lush, Tranquil Setting

The soothing, peaceful atmosphere of Carroll Campbell Place extends beyond the walls of the residency. Situated in a serene setting with a country feel, the center incorporates bird aviaries and access to Mama Sue’s Garden.

Two Therapeutic Gardens

The two outdoor therapeutic gardens provide residents with the freedom to enjoy being outside in a protected environment. The gardens feature fountains, water walls, music, sitting areas and walking paths. Families can also enjoy the garden’s many features. Patio areas are available for small gatherings or just enjoying the outdoors.

Mama Sue’s Garden is dedicated in loving memory of Dora Sue Porth “Mama Sue” Spires, by her husband Wesley, and children, Patsy Amick, Gloria Cook, Nell McCarty, Betty McWhorter and Roger Spires.
